​We love Southeastern Arizona with all of our hearts. The air is so clean and fresh.  Every trip out, we see a new bird or animal that we have never seen before. The sunrises are red, as they slowly rise from the mountain base. The desert sunsets are world renown. The full moon is a special treat.  As the moon climbs up over the mountain peaks, the color is pure white.  Our Oct trip out, the full moon stopped us in our tracks for 1 hour.  We will never forget that incredible sight! 

​

Bird lovers are in for special treats. See the best Winter Bird Migration in North America from 2 porches at the Ranch. Sandhill Cranes arrive in Oct and stay through March. Eagles, Owls, Finches, Hummingbirds, Hawks, Road Runners, and so many other birds, call the Sulphur Springs Valley their winter home. Some stay year round. The Mexican Long Tongue Bats are seen at the hummingbird feeders at night. Yes, they will empty the feeders, if given the chance!

Butterflies and Grasshoppers are seen throughout our valley year round..

​

Reptiles are seen regularly.  I love the Gila Monsters and Turtles.

 

Or simple relax and drink wine at one of the many local wine vineyards.  Tombstone is a short drive for a fun filled day. Many Ghost towns are close by as well as ruins and Gold Mine.
